2009 FALL FESTIVAL
OCTOBER 10 AND 11
Beautiful, Historic downtown Blackwater is
hosting the best fall festival ever. Booths will
line the streets selling antiques, crafts, food
and much more. The town has never looked
better. Vendors start setting up around
7:00am and the festival begins at 9:00am.
Enthusiasm for this event is very high. Booth
space is $25.00 for both days.

ULTURAL EVENT
On Saturday October 10th the Bucksnort
Trading Company will be hosting Little Horse
Drum, a native drum group made up of
native people from all over the state. There
will be three sessions of drumming, singing
and dancing by Native Americans in full
regalia. William Branson, a member of Little
Horse Drum, will be providing explanations
about various aspects of native culture. In
between these sessions will be Native
American craft demonstrations of porcupine
quillwork and beadwork. Also on the agenda
will be native style flute playing by Sarah
Blanton.
An 18 foot Cheyenne teepee will be
displayed during the festival.
