APRIL 18th.-Spring Garden Show. Always the
third Saturday in April. Free admission.
MAY 9th. -May Fest. Always the second Saturday  
in May. Booths line the streets. Antiques,  
Collectibles, Food, and entertainment. Admission is
free.
JULY 11th.-Hobo day. Miniature railroad displays,
all sorts of games and contests. Come and enjoy the
day. Admission is free.
AUGUST 1st.-Firemans whole hog roast. Whole
hog and beef dinner with all the trimmings. Serving
from 4:pm to 7:30pm. At the fire station. Ticket
information available soon.
SEPTEMBER 15th.-Progressive dinner. The
third Tuesday in September. Seating is limited, by
reservation only. Call 660-846-2411. This is sold out
every year so call soon.
OCTOBER 10th. and 11th.-October Fall
Festival. Always the 2nd weekend in October.
Antiques, Collectibles, Food and entertainment.
Admission is free.
DECEMBER 12th and 13th -Bob Milne
Ragtime concert and Merchants open house. Two
matinees at 2:30 pm. $12.50 per person.
The Community club will also host a porkchop lunch
before each concert for an additional $12.50. Lunch
and a great concert for $25.00. For reservations call

Blackwater, 2nd Trivia night. Thursday July
16th. Great fun. Call Linda at 660-846-2411
OCTOBER 16th. Haunted hay ride. Friday night.
Scarry hay ride to Wild Cliff Quarry. Passengers will
be treated to a real hay ride on wagons. All sorts of
eerie entertainment abound, includes seasonal
refreshments. About 2 fun filled hours. $10.00, by

AUGUST 8TH.- BLACKWATER'S "SECOND
SATURDAY SALE". Every second Saturday of
Aug., Sept,. and October. Blackwater is hosting
vendors selling almost anything. Examples of what
we will allow are-Antiques, collectibles, crafts, farm
produce, flea market items, baked goods, Girl Scout
cookies, hobbies, garage sale items, pampered
chef, avon, etc. Booth space is still only $25.00
dollars. We will advertise each event. For
